Katie's newest works on paper are part of her “Good Grief” collection. Through lots of deep, all-consuming blues and sweeping marks, this collection expresses what it feels like to move through grief and find Love along the way. While these pieces were made with a backdrop of sadness, they are dedicated to all of the kind souls who have been able to keep the light on; to those who don’t flinch when things are upside down. Katie’s hope is that these pieces are like a knowing friend to anyone walking with grief or a reminder to be close to anyone who finds themselves “blue through and through”.
